A French shaker: two stainless pieces, no strainer built in, with a waisted silhouette that sits between a cobbler and a Boston. It seals metal on metal, which is why it holds temperature better than a tin and glass pairing, and why it needs a firm tap to open.
Features
- Two piece all stainless construction
- Waisted profile, narrower at the seal than a Boston tin
- Metal on metal seal holds cold longer than glass
- No internal strainer, pairs with a Hawthorne or julep
- Seamless body, nothing to trap pulp
- Weighted base
