A Hawthorne with a dense spring, which is the only part of the design that matters. A tight coil catches ice shards and mint before they reach the glass, and the two prongs let you close the gate against the tin to hold back more, or open it to let a little through.

- Two pronged gate you can adjust against the rim
- Fits both 28 oz and 18 oz tins and a 16 oz mixing glass
